Andrew is currently studying for a degree in Building Surveying, and will be taking a year out in industry from Sep 2008. Ideally he would like a summer placement in a relevant company where he can gain on the job experience. Willing to do basic admin, assistant work and has experience in labouring. Excellent IT skills and can use ARCICAD / AUTOCAD/ 3D. Based in Plymouth but can travel to Tavistock and Liskeard.

Stacey B/ Catering / Retail / Reception

Temporary - Summer 2008

Stacey has registered with us in preparation for the summer. Some weekends Stacey is away show jumping, but she can do as many hours as you need mid-week. Catering, retail, till work, reception. Food retail/ manufacture is a draw for Stacey as she is studying Food Nutrition and Consumer Protection at Bath Spa University. Book Stacey now for the summer at our special student rate.

Jack N / Waiter / Kitchen Porter / Sales Assistant

Jack is in his final year of sixth form and is available for summer work once his exams have finished. Jack is flexible and is willing to turn his hand to most things; his previous roles have included waiting, work as a kitchen porter and working on an ice cream van. Based in Milton Abbot with transport and happy to work anywhere within a 30 minute drive.

Available Monday 30th June – Friday 19th September 2008. Full Time or Part Time, no Saturdays.

James C/ Administration / Catering

James is an extremely bright young man, having gained straight A*s at GCSE, straight A’s at A Level and now about to graduate from Durham University with an excellent degree predicted. James has decided to take a gap year so is looking for work in order to save money for travelling. Based near Callington with transport, James is able to travel to Launceston, Liskeard and Tavistock, and Plymouth for the right job. James would like some flexibility over the summer, followed by a longer, more regular stretch of work commencing in August/September. This young man would be excellent in an office, working on a research project or in administration. James also has catering experience and is more than happy to return to this.

Available 1st July – January/February 2009. Ideally 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri.

Elodie S / Administration / Catering / Textile Design

Elodie is graduating this year from Leeds College of Art & Design with a BA (Hons) in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design. Elodie has experience in catering and is happy to find work in this area in the short term but will be looking for permanent work related to her degree as of September. We placed Elodie last summer with a busy local inn and a similar role this summer would be perfect. Elodie is based near Launceston with transport.

Available 18th July – 18th August 2008 for temporary work. September 2008 for permanent.

Chloe W / Administration / Catering / Textile Design

Chloe has been working for us over the last two years and we always received excellent feedback from our clients. Chloe is capable within the kitchen and has completed several assignments as a commis chef as well as restaurant supervisor, waitress and general assistant. Chloe is graduating this summer from University of Wales Institute Cardiff with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Textile Practice and will be looking for a permanent role in this field. In the meantime, Chloe is happy to return to catering. Based near Launceston with transport.

Available mid July – September 2008 for Part Time work. September 2008 for permanent.

Harriet G / Waitressing / Bar Work

Temporary - Summer 2008

Harriet has experience in waitressing and bar work and is keen to find summer employment. Currently studying at Duchy College, Harriet is based in Stoke Climsland and will have transport from mid July. She is happy to use public transport until that time. Harriet is a friendly, hard working young lady with good customer services skills. Happy to work weekends, evenings and split shifts.

Emma P / Health Care / Catering / Administration

Emma is hoping to become a Dietician when she graduates and this summer would like to gain experience ideally within healthcare. Her priority is to find a challenging role where she can gain valuable experience which could forward her future career. Emma is open to office work, general administration, data processing and has her own transport. Emma is looking to work along the A30 corridor, so Launceston and Bodmin but could easily travel to Tavistock.

Lila W / Data Entry / Administration / Accounts Assistant

Lila achieved excellent A level grades and will be graduating this summer with a BSC in Mathematics, predicted to gain a 1st. Lila has previously worked as a Mathematics Tutor and an Outdoor Education Coordinator, demonstrating her good communication skills. Has also had experience in Data Entry for research at Bristol University and has completed work experience within a bank. Lila would like to take the opportunity to gain further relevant experience this summer. With her own transport she can travel to Bodmin, Liskeard, Plymouth, Callington.

Tamsin F / Administration

Temporary - Summer 2008

Tamsin is another student who we placed last summer with a client in Tavistock. She took on a database administration and marketing role for the duration of the summer and we had excellent feedback from our client. Tamsin will be graduating this summer and will be looking for a permanent role in her degree field of History of Art. Work experience has included an internship at Sothebys Auction House. Tamsin is an intelligent and personable young lady who has excellent transferrable skills. Based near Launceston with transport.
