01.02.2008 - Permanent Placements

We are delighted to announce that January 2008 got off to a very good start, with eight permanent placements in a variety of posts from three Legal Secretaries to an excellent ground worker with his driving tickets.

It was on one hand very sad to lose two of our professional temporary Legal Secretaries but on the other hand they were offered excellent opportunities and we congratulate them, and all those candidates who started their new permanent roles in 2008.

01.02.2008 - Wheels Into Work

At least six young people registered with us have been assisted into work thanks to Wheels Into Work who gave them the all important start.

Francis Griffiths manages the Wheels Into Work scheme from a Launceston base and covers East, South and North Cornwall. Wheels Into Work is designed to provide a moped and equipment to people who do not have transport and have no local public transport to their workplace. Wheels Into Work not only provide the moped, for a modest weekly fee, but also a days training and CBT test to allow, so that you are immediately mobile. For a rural based workforce this is an excellent initiative.
