Rachel R / Administration

Permanent or Temporary

Rachel has a great deal of experience of processing and collating data , analysing the outcomes and dealing with any problems arising from the process. Excellent Excel, Access and other bespoke database skills. We could see Rachel's skills and experience fitting environments such as manufacturing, public sector, Devon & Cornwall Constabulary etc. Rachel can produce management information to deadlines and support information and reporting is her forté. Based in Kelly Bray, Rachel can commute easily within Devon and Cornwall and locally would like 3 - 4 days per week, but could also complete some work from home. Rachel is free for work following redundancy at the end of September but is available for interviews immediately. Last salary, £18k per annum.


Chris S / Office Administrator with Accounts Skills

Permanent or Temporary

Chris is a well educated family man, having completed a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Hertfordshire, who is looking for a full time permanent position that offer a challenge and the opportunity to develop a career.

In Chris’s previous post he managed a small team and works well as a member of a team, liaising with colleagues. Tasks and roles he performed in his previous post included; managing staffing levels and resources, coordinating holiday requests and sickness, dealing with payments to the company, managing the bills and cash flow, posting all account details to the account system, paying the monthly salaries, dealing with the quarterly VAT payments and yearly corporation tax, overseeing stock levels and ordering equipment and supplies, and preparing and producing management information for company directors. He also performed a secondary role of IT support. Chris has good IT skills and knowledge, including Microsoft office, having provided IT assistance and training to colleagues in his previous two posts.

 

We do highly recommend meeting Chris, he is based at Yelverton but is happy to commute for the right role and he is available immediately for interview and start.


Nickie M / Customer Service Manager

Although this lady has at present a part time bookkeeping post, this is a temporary position having arrived back from Cyrpus where she and her husband ran their own business. Previously, Nickie was a Sales Manager with Lloyds Bank Plc and the vast experience and knowledge of all three careers makes Nickie now a very special candidate for a business that needs expertise in sales, negotiation, problem solving, financial awareness and an employee with a can do attitude.

Based at St Dominick, Nickie has transport and can locate for work within 45 minutes commuting from home.


Susan C / Retail / Customer Service and Sales

Permanent or Contract

Susan is a very experienced customer service supervisor, used to handling cash, dealing with orders and deliveries, customer service and complaints and operating a telephone switchboard. She has a wealth of practical sales experience but is very modest about what she can do and will do and as such her CV does not really ‘sell’ her. In her role at an reputable country hotel, Susan was required to sell rooms, these were expensive and Susan’s knowledge and sales ability did mean she often sold rooms well; the hotel was always full and one set of rooms she sold for 30 days! This is what gives her a buzz. Susan was disappointed that her most recent role, for Sales Solutions, did not last and this was only due to the company’s lack of cash flow as a start-up; Susan was meeting her targets and did particularly well at selling advertising space and really enjoyed it.


Stephen V / Customer Service Manager

This is a true customer service manager, who is not afraid to get his hands dirty, knows his products and services and has a drive to do his best for all parties involved in a transaction - be it a service product. A very likeable person, with confidence and energy. Great communicator and an excellent memory for people, places and experience. We were impressed by the ambitious, level headed, friendly attitude to work.


Luke V / Sales Executive / Administrator

Luke is a very bright, quick learner who has transferred from hospitality into sales office business to busisness environment very easily. He is grateful to his present employer for the opportunity but it is time to move into a more challenging position. Luke is happy to commute within a 40/50 mile round trip. Luke has an excellent positive attitude to customer service. We highly recommend meeting this young man.


Pearl D / Business to Business, Area Sales Manager

A sales manager from the Kent area has relocated to Tavistock to support her elderly parent. This lady has a wealth of experience from retail to business media and hospitality. We see this lady in many different environments, and doing equally well. Pearl has taken the initiative and qualified with a National Licencee Certificate. If you require a Sales/Telesales Manager, Public House or Hotel Manager or Retail Manager(products or service) this is the lady with so much experience and knowledge of the market.


Joanne L / Plymouth based Lettings/Sales Negotiator

Permanent or Temporary

Joanne is an experienced Lettings/ Sales Negotiator who is returning to work after a brief spell at home with the new addition to the family, and is now relocating back to Plymouth to see part or full time work. Minimum salary expectation £7.50ph and can do temping but ideally looking to secure a permanent post - happy to be based in Plympton area.


Suzi B / Administration / Sales / Hospitality

Permanent or Temporary

This mature, sensible lady has a wealth of experience and can complete part time hours, Monday to Saturday. Ideally between 9am and 3pm daily. Has completed in the main Sales Order Processes. Could be based at Ashwater, Okehampton, Launceston or Holsworthy. Temporary or permanent post, Suzi doesn't mind, she is very flexible, with no financial commitments at present.


Luke B / Law Graduate - 2:1 Exeter

This young man has excellent GCSEs, 'As' at A Level and graduated with a 2:1 in Law from Exeter University in 2009. Luke is looking for two years work in a Solicitors practice so that he can save for the LPC. Ideally Luke would like a post in the South West but if it is outside the area then he can relocate. If you have a post, Luke is willing to complete unpaid work experience to start, so that a local firm can make up their mind about a placement. A very bright and articulate young man who will make an excellent Solicitor.


Kirsty B/ Sales / Administration

Temporary or Fixed Contract

Kirsty has a wealth of experience with a strong sales background. Now, with a business partner, starting a a new venture, Kirsty requires temporary or fixed term contract work, ideally part time, to supplement her income. Kirsty is an excellent communicator and her talent really is building client/customer relations. She is numerate and familiar with figure work – keeping track of sales targets and revenue targets and quite used to using Excel spreadsheets. Sales Ledger work and debt collection would prove very easy to her. Eager to work and with a professional manner.


Susanne W / Customer Service based Administrator

Permanent or Temporary

This lady has 6 years experience in a very busy outpatients' area in the NHS. Dealing with a busy reception, telephone and admin support and collation of data for patients and managers around a large physiotherapy department. Having relocated from Wiltshire to Tavistock, this lady is looking at locally based work or within 30 minutes journey of Tavistock. ECDL held together with various IT certificates relating to database work.


Stewart B / Customer Service and Distribution

Permanent or Temporary

A very accomplished person on the telephone and fact to face for this type of customer service work in a busy business. Used to taking hundreds of calls per day, sometimes dealing with complaints and financial problems. Available to work with 7 days notice in present temporary role, and is happy to travel to Liskeard, Bodmin, Wadebridge or Callington. Stewart is presently earning £6.40ph and would ideally like 13.5-14 K per annum in a permanent post.


Ellen G / Excellent Administrator - Commercial or Private Sector

This young lady has a wealth of experience and has just relocated back to the Saltash area and has transport. Willing to drive up to 1 hour radius for work and is ready for immediate start with no holiday booked until September 2010.

Ellen is bright, organised, decisive and looking ideally for a minimum £6.00ph temporary or £13k per annum permanently. Can process sales orders, use MS Office with a good typing speed (63wpm), manage a switchboard and process data of a confidential nature and solve problems with ease.


Neil J / Graduate with Financial Services experience

Neil is a well educated young graduate who is very keen to join an Independent Financial Advisors as a paraplanner / administrator as he has completed this work before the recession and is studying for the CF exams with the C11. Having returned from Brazil where Neil was teaching English for 12 months, he and his new Brazillian wife have settled in Ivybridge to seek work in Plymouth or Exeter. Excellent candidate, with a wealth of work and life experience, very presentable and determined to succeed.
