Jodi H / Finance Supervisor / Accounts Manager

Jodi has completed her AAT Technician level and is currently sitting her ACCA exams - her long term aim is to gain her chartered qualifications but she wants to do this alongside full time work and developing her skills within the workplace. Jodi is a forward thinking, self-motivated, highly committed and hard working person experienced in finance, customer service and sales within a business environment. Looking to move on from her current role as the department is due to be relocated beyond commuting distance from Liskeard. Jodi is ideally looking for a role in South East Cornwall or could relocate to Exeter. Salary in the region of £22 - £25k per annum but study support and the right role are the priority.                                                                                                                                  

Joanna S / Excellent Finance Administrator

Joanna is a highly educated, extremely bright young lady who has a very good understanding and knowledge of Sage (Line 50 and Line 100) and she used Line 100 in her last post at the YMCA which unfortunately as a temporary assignment finished very recently. Ideally she would like to carry on using Line 100 and take on more responsibility in an accounts post to run alongside her AAT technical certificate. Joanna also completes manual accounts for her husband’s business, which has recently become VAT registered, so we know that her understanding of double entry and basic book keeping stems from manual accounts, the best way to learn! Joanna and her family have settled in the Plymouth area just the other side of the bridge in Ernesettle but one of Joanna’s posts was based in Saltash so she has no qualms about driving to work in Cornwall.

Sandrine J / Accounts Technician - Part Time Hours

Sandrine has experience of Sage Instant Accounts and some payroll including CIS. The present post is only one day per month, so Sandrine is looking for two or three days per week in a further post. Lives in Launceston with transport, Sandrine has very good skills nad her knowledge is being formalised in the AAT Intermediate Level 3 qualification she is doing and funding herself.

Laura G / Administration and Bookkeeping - Sage Line 50

Laura is a very friendly, professional young lady, who has the right skills and experience to join a local business; IT literate, excellent phone manner and used Sage Line 50 for three years in a previous post. Laura can do all the day to day bookkeeping and is familiar enough with using Sage in the work place that she could easily learn any other elements that you require.

Gillian H / Accounts Manager

Gillian is a Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and holds Diploma in Advanced Level Bookkeeping (Grade A). This is a highly qualified and experienced accounts person, who has a full understanding of Double Entry Bookkeeping and accounts software. Having worked for a Chartered Accountants, been self-employed and running an accounts department for an employer, Gillian has all the knowledge from all platforms. Based in Okehampton close to A30, with transport. Gillian is flexible on work location and available immediately.

Rose C / Accounts Technician with Licencee Experience

This lady has a great deal of experience of various businesses especially Engineering and Public Houses. Currently on an assignment with a Public House in Reading, but the home base is North Tawton. A very practical lady with no qualms about doing any tast that is necessary for the business. So, Credit Control, looking at costings, negotiation with suppliers and liaising with accountants. The salary is important to Rosemary, and location is second, so these two requirements are very closely linked.

Sue G / Accounts Administrator

This lady has many years of double entry bookkeeping experience, using Sage. Ideally part time hours 20/25 per week, locally based in Launceston or Holsworthy. A job share could be considered as the present role is, but it comes to an end in November so Sue is looking for a permanent post to commence at that time or, if necessary, before. Presently on £7.75ph.

Susan M / Accounts / Admin

Susan is a very good all round double entry book-keeper which experience in book-keeping, sales and purchase ledger, credit control and managing petty cash, all on Sage. Can do part or full time, ideally full time in the Launceston or Bude area.

Sue M/ Accounts / Sales and Purchase Ledger

The present post Sue is in will be shortly moving to Exeter and Sue is therefore looking at locally based opportunities. Although Sue has been a Cost Clerk, her previous role with the variety and diversity of accounts and admin is what she is looking for. Sue is a very nice lady who is very knowledgeable in Sage and just recently completed the MS Excel course at intermediate and advanced level which is a very useful qualification.

Wendy P / Accounts Technician

Wendy has relocated to Tavistock and brings many excellent accounting skills. Purchase & Sales Ledger for several companies, VAT, PAYE and all on Sage Line 50. Also very good communications skills, highly organised and self motivated to do credit control. Wendy is very friendly outgoing conscientious and co-operative and completes her work carefully and precisely. Likes variety, has a sense of urgency and really likes it when things happen and move on. Familiar with temporary assignments and totally comfortable with adjusting to change and responding to new situations. Has enhanced disclosure. Happy to commute to Launceston / Callington on either a temporary or permanent basis.

Marilyn H / Wages / Accounts Technician

Marilyn is a reliable and hardworking employee with over thirty years experience in payroll, Sales and Purchase Ledger accounting, journals, cash book and bank reconciliations. Accurate, methodical and able to organise own work schedules and prioritise. Marilyn has had the opportunity to progress within each previous role, and enjoys making the most of that opportunity to adapt to new processes/software or change from manual to computerised payroll or accounts for example. In her most recent role Marilyn was entrusted with estimating as she possessed such a good understanding of the company and accounts.

Sonya C/ Experienced and Qualified to AAT  / Excel & Access, Sage/AS400

Sonya is very keen to do temporary or permanent work in an accounts department of a business large or small, has also completed work in chartered accountants. Preparation of accounts, Sales and Purchase ledger, VAT returns, payroll and preparation of accounts for month and year end, all Sonya can and will do. Her recent work from which she has been made redundant due to its sale has allowed her to focus on KPI’s and setting up and maintaining EDI systems in a food manufacturing environment. Minimum £20,000pa, would ideally like more with greater responsibility. Can do part or full time and ideally based in or around Launceston. An excellent candidate, definitely worth meeting

Melissa B / Trainee Accounts / Administrator

Melissa is a focused young lady, who works hard in the care industry and enjoys this work which is very rewarding. However, her favourite subject at college was Maths and she has always wanted a job in accounts. With this in mind, Melissa at her own expense is taking the AAT course, having just completed the foundation, and results are awaited. Ideally she would like a trainee accounts role, to gain valuable experience and work her way up in an organisation. Have you a trainee position for this young lady? We do highly recommend meeting Melissa, who had top marks in her assessment.

Judy B / Accounts

Judy can do: Sage Accounts, Sales/Purchase Ledger, Credit Control and month and year end reporting.

Ideally Judy would like 20 hours per week, and not work at all on a Thursday. Present hourly rate £7.69, and Judy can locate for work in Launceston, Tavistock, Callington or Bodmin.

Daniel B / Trainee Accounts / Admin

This young man is completing his AAT exams, but lacks experience. We do feel that Daniel with training in the right accountancy practice, will be an excellent accounts practitioner and he is very motivated to commence a career in Chartered Accountancy. Based in Loor, Daniel can commute or is willing to relocate for the right start.
