Mark L / Management Accountant / General Manager

Permanent or Temporary

Mark has relocated to the South West, following voluntary redundancy from part of the Ford Motor Company. AAT qualified to intermediate, together with an Economics Diploma and BSc. The education, training and wealth of experience give a local company a fantastic chance to make good use of those attributes we do not normally have in this region. Along with these skills, Mark has an excellent working knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Excel and a little Access. No job is too large or too small for Mark, he realises in the South West this will be a real asset to a new, up and coming company or a company with difficulties at a very tough time. Mark's analytical skills from a struggling automotive industry can apply to any business.


Sue H/ Accounts / Sales and Purchase Ledger

Susan is a very good all round double entry book-keeper which experience in book-keeping, sales and purchase ledger, credit control and managing petty cash, all on Sage. Can do part or full time, ideally full time in the Launceston or Bude area.


Wendy P / Accounts Technician

Permanent or Temporary

Wendy has relocated to Tavistock and brings many excellent accounting skills. Purchase & Sales Ledger for several companies, VAT, PAYE and all on Sage Line 50. Also very good communications skills, highly organised and self motivated to do credit control. Wendy is very friendly outgoing conscientious and co-operative and completes her work carefully and precisely. Likes variety, has a sense of urgency and really likes it when things happen and move on. Familiar with temporary assignments and totally comfortable with adjusting to change and responding to new situations. Has enhanced disclosure. Happy to commute to Launceston / Callington on either a temporary or permanent basis.


Marilyn H / Wages / Accounts Technician

Marilyn is a reliable and hardworking employee with over thirty years experience in payroll, Sales and Purchase Ledger accounting, journals, cash book and bank reconciliations. Accurate, methodical and able to organise own work schedules and prioritise. Marilyn has had the opportunity to progress within each previous role, and enjoys making the most of that opportunity to adapt to new processes/software or change from manual to computerised payroll or accounts for example. In her most recent role Marilyn was entrusted with estimating as she possessed such a good understanding of the company and accounts.


Sonya C/ Experienced and Qualified to AAT  / Excel & Access, Sage/AS400

Sonya is very keen to do temporary or permanent work in an accounts department of a business large or small, has also completed work in chartered accountants. Preparation of accounts, Sales and Purchase ledger, VAT returns, payroll and preparation of accounts for month and year end, all Sonya can and will do. Her recent work from which she has been made redundant due to its sale has allowed her to focus on KPI’s and setting up and maintaining EDI systems in a food manufacturing environment. Minimum £20,000pa, would ideally like more with greater responsibility. Can do part or full time and ideally based in or around Launceston. An excellent candidate, definitely worth meeting


Andrew P / Accounting Technician

Andrew is leaving his business of 25 years, and taking a new career direction in accounts, as this element of the business was of real interest. Andrew has taken sensible action and gone to train in accounts AAT foundation and Sage whilst still doing his own business accounts. Having completed some adult education teaching early in his career, perhaps a tutoring role could be considered - Andrew has excellent communication skills and would enjoy combining these two areas.


Melissa B / Trainee Accounts / Administrator

Melissa is a focused young lady, who works hard in the care industry and enjoys this work which is very rewarding. However, her favourite subject at college was Maths and she has always wanted a job in accounts. With this in mind, Melissa at her own expense is taking the AAT course, having just completed the foundation, and results are awaited. Ideally she would like a trainee accounts role, to gain valuable experience and work her way up in an organisation. Have you a trainee position for this young lady? We do highly recommend meeting Melissa, who had top marks in her assessment.


Marcellina O / Financial Services

This lady has been made redundant from Financial Services, as her last role was mortgages. Marcellina does have the advantage of also being qualified and conversant in other areas such as life, pensions, ISA and investment bonds. Her sales administration track record is excellent in this area. If you are shifting your financial services into a new area, this is the candidate for you. Based near Callington and happy to commute.


Alison N / Sales / Administrator / Production Programmer

Permanent

A varied history gives this lady many excellent account skills like Purchase and Sales Ledger, VAT, petty cash, bank reconciliations, credit control, and computerised accounting skills to trial balance and P & L and monthly reporting. Used to Excel for production planning and liaising with other departments to ensure customer orders are out on time as quoted. Based in Tavistock, Alison is willing to travel.


Barbara B / Accounts Administrator

Permanent or Temporary

This lady has been made redundant from a local small business, where she completed payroll, double entry book-keeping on Quickbooks and year-end reports for the accountants. Based in Launceston, Barbara can locate within a 15 mile radius for new work. Ideally 3 to 4 days work, and it can be admin or accounts or a combination.


Richard B / Financial Advisor holds FPC Cert.

Richard is working for a large company which has a 'hearing aid' division and has been completing this work for a while, but industry changes has Richard desiring a career back in Financial Services. A salary of £25 - £30k pa would be desirable, and travelling in Cornwall is not a problem being based in West Cornwall. Relocating for work in the South East is not an option for the family, but working away and commuting is.


TH / Accounts & Administration skills  

Permanent or Temporary

Tina is self-employed and as this only takes up some of her time she is a candidate with excellent admin and accounts knowledge, having run her own business which involves a great deal of accounts, pricing, negotiating and research work. Tina is happy to do a combination admin/accounts or a pure accounts role in a team, so could also specialise in credit control, purchase or sales ledger. Based in Callington area, ideally Tina would like work in within a 20 mile radius of home, which takes in Plymouth, Tavistock and Bodmin. Tina’s skills would suit a small business or a busy team. £7.00 per hour would be a good starting place.


Robert P / AAT Qualified Accountant

Permanent or Temporary

This gentleman has been an accountant in the main with automotive companies, but Robert is looking for work outside that industry now and is very capable of transferring all his skills to a different career base. Based in Callington, with transport, Robert is available immediately and eager to start work on a temporary or permanent basis.
